Directly after Teen Street, we drove back to Halle to begin our TIM. Being tired from being at Teen Street for two weeks,we had to learn to live on the grace of God. our theme for this TIM was "eagle's wings"- we all had to learn during the week not to live on our own strength but to allow God to carry us.

Let´s go to the
black mountain!
15 Teens headed off to Montenegro during their
autumn vacation
What did
they learn? After five intensive days of an
overview of different political views and personal boundaries, the
suitcases not yet packed and the rooms not yet cleaned , we were not in a mood to answer such a
question! But nevertheless we answered and this is what came out:
- " I have learnt that teamwork and community is important to
bring God's word to the world"
- " to be thankful and I discovered my boundaries and
talents"
- "also that in poverty you still can be happy"
- " in a group you are strong"
- " I am not at all poor"
- "To trust in God in dicey situations. "

My time at TiM Southampton holds many memories of laughter, fellowship
and learning. It was a time that reminded me that mission starts at home and
seeing the children during Daisy Dip see what God does was amazing to be a part
of.
